About Voceris

Voceris is an AI voice training app for people who want to sound clearer, calmer and more confident when they speak: in meetings, on stage, on dates, on calls and on camera. It is made by RRDL LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15531938), based in London.

What Voceris does

You read a short prompt out loud for 15 to 35 seconds. Voceris scores 9 measures of your speaking voice from 0 to 100, combines them into an overall score and a tier from D to A+, writes a short verdict on what to fix first, and builds a training plan of 30 to 180 days at about 5 minutes a day. It runs on iPhone, on Android and in any modern browser at app.trainmyvoice.app, with one account for both. It analyzes English speech.

MeasureWhat it describes
DepthHow low and full your voice sits within your natural range
ResonanceHow much your voice carries and rings rather than sounding thin or pinched
ClarityHow cleanly words and word endings come through
StabilityHow steady your pitch and volume are, without shakes or wobble
PaceYour speaking rate, and whether it suits being understood
PausesWhether you use deliberate pauses or fill or rush through silences
Filler wordsHow often "um", "uh", "like" and similar fillers appear
Vocal fryHow much of your speech drops into a low, creaky rattle
VolumeWhether you are loud enough to be heard without strain

How the scoring works

Your recording is transcribed and analyzed by AI models to score the 9 measures and write your verdict. Practice exercises go further: each rep is decoded and measured acoustically (pitch, loudness, steadiness, hold time and pauses), then judged against what that specific drill trains, so a breathing drill is judged on hold time and steadiness, a pacing drill on its own target speed, and a pitch glide on range and smoothness. The written feedback names the measured number, for example "you held 1.5 s, aim for 4 s".

Voceris is a coaching tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose voice disorders, and it is not an accent or pronunciation coach.

Free tools

These run entirely in your browser; your audio is never uploaded.

How we write our guides

The Voceris blog publishes practical guides on speaking voice, delivery and confidence, in 17 languages.

  • Practical first. Every guide gives drills with timings and a way to check progress, not just advice.
  • Sources we have checked. When we cite research, we link the original paper (usually by DOI) or an authoritative health body such as ASHA, NIDCD or the NHS, and we open every link before publishing. When evidence is thin, we say so.
  • No medical advice. Guides that touch on voice health say when to see a speech-language pathologist or an ENT doctor.
  • Honest about the app. We mention Voceris only where it helps, and comparison pages describe other apps on their real strengths.
  • Dated and maintained. Each guide shows when it was last updated. Translations are written for each language's readers rather than translated word for word.
